Stephen Yaffe started his career in retail in the executive training program for Abraham & Strauss. He held several executive merchandising roles before venturing into the executive search industry. In 1986, Stephen Yaffe joined Retail Recruiters as the division director for all retail merchandising searches. In 1990 Stephen Yaffe joined Management Recruiters conducting middle and senior level searches within the apparel, footwear, retail and sporting goods industries. Having achieved pacesetter status, industry recognition and becoming a Vice President-General Manager of the Boston Group of Management Recruiters, Stephen Yaffe started his own search firm Stephen Yaffe Associates in 2002 to become a leading executive search advisory firm.
